    There's actually 8 players slower than Morales this year(not that your point isn't well made, he is slow as f***). 5 catchers, 1 DH and 2 1B. Pujols is the slowest.

    There's plenty of depth without Tulo, Travis or Solarte though. Logjam and depth are not the same thing

    The 750 K buyout on Solarte seems like a no-brainer at this point and Travis seems like a non-tender candidate. Disagree on Grichuk and Pillar. Both will be starting OF next year barring trades

    This is all true, but what do you do with Gurriel in the meantime? Or Travis? Gurriel has shown enough that he should also be a starting IF, so with him, Travis, Tulo and Diaz....2 of whom are made of glass, do you cut bait with Travis altogether and have Gurriel play 2nd with Urena and Diaz both rostered as insurance for Tulo's inevitable injury? And what of Drury? There's a clusterf*** in the Jays MIF right now, and the Tulo/Travis injury parade makes it worse.

    Wins don't matter at this point really, so there's plenty of arguments to sit him if he's not getting any interest on the trade market. D'ing him FA would be a classy thing, but then you just give a guy with value away for nothing, may as well keep him and get those few extra weeks of vetrin presents and mentoring
