    Oneil Cruz debuted for the Pirates yesterday, hit a 118 mph single for his first MLB hit. Saw him in ST last year against the Jays, dude is already a powerhouse and looks like he could easily add 20 pounds of muscle. He is going to be scary good.

    I don’t think anyone with actual game knowledge overrates Pillar. Casuals, sure, but they overrate anyone on their team

    I guess this is the 9-run-game strikezone now. That 3-0 strike to Vlad never came close at any point to being in the zone.

    Yeah. I mean, the same lineup as today, with Kirk over Grichuk is problaby the best hitting lineup the Jays can put out there right how, but if Gurriel can't play the OF, then we're stuck with Grichuk, which honestly isn't the worst thing in the world if he's hitting 9th. He's still a capable defensive outfielder. Might move Jansen up ahead of Espinal in the order but that's splitting hairs.
