I think it's pitch selection that makes all the difference with him. 98 mph fastball, 81 MPh curve and change. I dont get why they didnt go to the change against bethancourt after it was clear he was right on the fastball with timing. They just kept going fastball/curve. His curve realy isnt even that good, it's more of a get-me-over-curve rather than a putaway pitch.

Nah, he's a genius because only he can see the problems. Only him. He's the smartest guy in the room. An absolute baseball savant. Why he's not on some major league team's payroll as the highest paid analyst there's ever been is astounding. The entire sport is decades behind his keen baseball intellect.
