  1. I want in on this, but before I do... can i get a guarantee that i wont get banned if I compare his intelligence to the brown stains in the toilet bowl left over after Taco Tuesday?
  2. Im at work, just started following on Game day and came to ask about the strike zone and if it's as bad as is looks on Gameday .... this post answered that nicely.
  3. I love a pitcher with the name of DL.
  4. Conforto is recovering from Shoulder surgery, wont be back until 2023
  5. Stop peeing in the pool please.
  6. Does Espinal have some kind of “please f*** me over Ump” sign on him?
  7. I don’t think that bat flip was all that bright when A) you’re behind, and your pitcher almost killed 2 of the other team earlier
  8. Damn, that went outa there in a hurry
  9. For the Jays he probably doesn’t even make the bottom 5 worst signings…yet. A year from now…maybe a different convo
  10. Thornton has it easy now, the As won’t be used to seeing pitches in the strike zone.
  11. Murphy is definitely not comfortable in there right now
  12. Kikuchi has changed strategies here, try to kill the hitters so there won’t be anyone left to play
  13. 50% walk rate. This is a major league pitcher folks
  14. Nearly a 130 wRC+ now for Biggio. It seems criminal that Tapia has seen more than double his PAs so far.
  15. Don’t get why they’d schedule 2 starters with full off days on the same date. Seems like poor planning, not good planning
  16. Good message to throw the fastball, ffs you through 96, use the damn thing
  17. Damn. Little dick pants are on….f***
  18. That strike 3 was great, too bad the ump can’t see that far
  19. 4 game losing streak needs to be stopped by Kikuchi. He needs to put on his big dick pants tonight
  20. I hope you are right. Also consider that LH hitters in New Hampsire benefit form one of the shortest porches in baseball to hit over and off of. It's only 306 to the corner and 353 to right center. It's a lefty haven for hitting.
  21. Not to rain on the parade, but he's a 1b/DH (some time in LF I guess but not a lot to speak of). So unless there's injuries to ... everyone, there's not many places to play him at present with the # of DH days being rotated with Vlad, Springer, the catchers... etc.
  22. Not optimistic at all really to put all three of those guys as future bench players at best. Just saying that IF none of them become anything more than bench guys, it’s still something the Jays need. Right now the bench consists of Tapia, Zimmer, Collins and Biggio/whichever other catcher isn’t in the lineup. It’s not exactly a high floor offensive group with plus D. Zimmer is plus D with a less than 0 bat, Tapia sux on both sides of the ball, back up catcher after Collins is gone is likely fine, and a Biggio is kind of a tweener. Good enough bat to be in there everyday and be moved around a bit from 2nd to 1st and RF/LF if needed, but his defensive skill isn’t plus.
  23. I wonder why it's so rare to see the best possible hitting lineup actually in the game... order could be argued a bit I guess but those are the guys that will determine if this team makes any noise in the playoffs.
  24. Having another Espinal around would be fine as long as the defense is elite and they maintain even a 105 wRC+ like he is right now. That's still a 3-4 WAR player. Even slightly less D and 95-ish wRC+ is a solid bench piece. Positional depth with a ton of bench guys is still important to ensure the floor of the team doesnt suffer too much when injuries strike. Even if Groshans, Lopez and Samad taylor (just throwing out names) never become regulars... if all 3 become average bench pieces that are even 0.5 - 1 WAR guys based on solid D and a non-limp noodle bat, that's not a bad thing. There's probably something to be said for having higher contact rate backups than more swing and miss/power guys, though you probably need at least 1 of those too. I'd rather see a plus D, slightly below average bench bat than Tapia any day of the week.
