  1. Just keep lefty hitter stats from New Hampshire in the "nice to see but ..." category. Super short porch in RF inflates a lot
  2. Figures as soon as the offense figures it out the SP goes to s***
  3. Yeah, the August waivers used to be revocable, but they aren't anymore
  4. Schneider's approach is just ... Perfect.
  5. Another confusing result for Vlad to watch. Still cannot believe guys are up there pulling fastballs for power. Lazy ground balls to the 2b is how you show the pitcher you can go the other way
  6. Vlad can't believe that HR from Kieboom. Pulling an inner half fastball at 93? Shoulda inside-outed it for a cheap single to right. These kids just don't get it
  7. Yeah he did a few slide steps last night to help keep guys guessing a bit but the majority were still full leg kicks deliveries. When a guy like Abrams gets one of those to run on he's not getting gunned by anyone.
  8. Gausmans plate delivery time can be measured with a sundial. They weren't stealing on Jansen
  9. And preceded by a month on ice.
  10. Putting someone there when they have little other choice is not the same as thinking he's a capable major league 3b
  11. Sprint speed is only calculated on plays where they run hard, and it's only the fastest part of that run so sprint speed metrics do not vary all that much after a few qualified runs
  12. Schneider with a perfect day. Thanks and see you next week for your next 4 PA
  13. They aren’t in the PCL sir.
  14. The trouble with making him a pen arm…if he’s already in the game as a DH or even a RF or 1B, how does he start to stretch and get loose before coming out to the mound for the normal time-constrained warm up pitches? He’d be nearly 100% limited to DH and have to go from the bench out to the bullpen to start warming up and hope he didn’t have to hit that inning.
  15. Historically…Aaron Judge gets a ton of bad calls against him below the knees
  16. It’s a medical retirement so he can retire and still get paid in full.
  17. The Jays inability to hit s***** pitching is alarming.
  18. Roden is a decent bat to ball guy but take his power numbers in New Hampshire with a grain of salt. the RF porch is only 306 away. The true game power still has a ways to go.
  19. I'm hearing LGJr and Teoscar Hernandez will be available.
  20. Sure, he's getting better results with less movement, more velo. It works for him. It's weird to look at his curveball movement #'s... it looks pretty similar movement-wise to what his slider was doing a few seasons ago.
  21. It's hard to argue with the results but his slider is actually the worst one of his career so far. Its horizontal and vertical movement on it are both worse than ever in his career and IMO he throws it too hard. Backing it off 2-ish mph would probably be beneficial.
  22. Usually have to pay extra for that Cotton
  23. Not sure if anyone has listened to any Baltimore TV or Radio highlights, but man alive are they straight up fellating the team at every opportunity. It's way past anything I've heard before from any team's broadcasters. They might as well be cheerleaders.
  24. Every single game yes. He called bunts
  25. From what i've read about him he earns incredible reviews for his defense... arm, framing, calling... the whole deal. Maybe they want to challenge him that way instead of offensively? Seems weird to me
