  1. There ya have it folks. Problem solved.
  2. This is about a s good as you’re gonna get from Ryu, this game is all on the offense right now.
  3. That’s the Jays luck right there…terrible contact with ridiculous weird spin that falls in for a double
  4. On the plus side…Ryu has been throwing really well outside of 1 pitch.
  5. Nobody can get any good contact off Scherzer tonight.
  6. Yup. Let Francis soak up the last few innings and come back for another game tomorrow.
  7. I know…thought about this amazingly timed post as the ball hit the stands.
  8. Can’t help a guy pitching like s***. Make a move, don’t make a move….the guy on the mound has to pitch better
  9. That was unlucky…lol, not our night tonight
  10. Cabrera might end up being a sneaky great pickup. I feel like after spending the off-season down in the lab he might come back even better
  11. Even money he pooped himself in the dugout
  12. Bassitt tonight, 40 swings, 4 whiffs. That’s never going to end well
  13. Bassitt blew tonight. No way to sugarcoat it
  14. I think it it was the one guy on the roster im okay with him sending in that scenario. Recall the 2 or 3 hopper Carter threw in earlier when Schneider scored. That probably played into it as well.
  15. Bassist issue tonight is he can’t get anything going in the strike zone. No swing and miss in the zone and Texas can just spit on all the nibble no pitches and wait
  16. It’s incredibly lucky he hasn’t given up 5 or more. If he can somehow get through 6 having only given up 3…there’s still a chance
  17. Sure seems that way. A guy who tops out at 92 isn’t going to live on his fastball. Just sit soft and adjust. Simple thought process.
  18. Lol @Vlad just up there guessing. He’s not gonna see a fastball from Dunning so not sure why he can’t just sit soft.
  19. Nah, Kiermaier speed vs a rookie you’ve already seen throw a pumpkin a few innings earlier? Good send, just didn’t work out. I think he was safe they just didn’t have an angle to truly show it.
  20. Dang too bad Bassitt couldn’t sit Seager down, Biggio saved them a run though
  21. Holy s*** Biggio that was f***ing brilliant
  22. s***** luck there, would been a double play…
  23. Really don’t get why the Jays suck so bad against shitballing soft tossers.
  24. I dunno, I don’t really see the Natural as a “baseball movie” the same way as say Bull Durham is a baseball movie. The Natural is more like a Roy Hobbs story and baseball is the backdrop. In Bull Durham, baseball is the story with characters like Crash, Nuke, the manager and others there to bring the struggles of the minor leagues to life.
  25. And another bad PA from Belt. If ya can’t even make contact on 91 down the middle it’s gonna be a long night.
