  1. Everyone in front offices yes. He can't expect reporters not to report
  2. At that point I believe Rogers would give them almost carte blanche to do what they need to do to shore up the rest of the roster. No way they land Ohtani and call it a day. I'd sign Yamamoto and Hader, then start trading the excess as best you can to fill the gaps.
  3. And Kikuchi and Ohtani went to the same school...probably meaningless
  4. Nobody from the Jays has leaked anything, the only person from the Dodgers that said anything about anything was the manager. Media members are just doing what they do best, generate clicks. Nothing the media reports on is going to be a factor in Ohtani’s decision. So far both FOs have been about tight lipped as ever. Gonna really suck when the Braves sign him.
  5. Except all the “circumstantial” evidence is made up. There is that.
  6. I'd happily pay Ohtani for 6 s*** years to get 6 great ones first.
  7. I wouldn't really Shaq either...closer to Oliver Miller
  8. The best thing for baseball is to have people talking about baseball. Ohtani signing in Toronto makes people talk all the way through ST and into the season. Ohtani signing in LA makes everyone go "Oh, yeah that's what we thought" and moves on to the next signing in 5 minutes.
  9. Yeah I think grant said he's 6'7 or 8 also. I probably nearly outweigh them combined though
  10. Guaranteed bean pole after all that swimming. Feel free to take a swing. Even if you miss the breeze would likely knock him over unless he turned sideways to become ultra-aerodynamic.
  11. Blue Jays To Reportedly Sign Shohei Ohtani By Darragh McDonald | December 8, 2023 at 12:58pm CDT The Blue Jays are set to sign two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani, per a report from J.P. Hoornstra of Dodgers Nation. Nothing is official but Hoornstra reports a formal announcement is expected as soon as tonight. Ben Nicholson-Smith and Shi Davidi of Sportsnet and Alden Gonzalez of ESPN push back by saying that a decision has not been made. I saw this and my blood circulation instantly shifted from my extremities to my pants. But I do not believe it yet. Until I see the press conference, with Ohtani in a Jays hat and jersey it's not real.
  12. It is. For the general public though it's probably not a strategy that would end up generating any significant outcomes. To make cold therapy work you almost have to make it part of a giant lifestyle change. For some weight loss is hard enough without that kind of change. For those who are very disciplined and are really into "biohacking" kind of processes, it would be likely much better in the outcome column. That's just a long winded and more contextual way of saying I agree.
  13. Depending on the height they're dropped from there might be a tsunami.
  14. NOt gonna lie, it's really hard to study for BioMed finals when this s*** is going on. LIke, do I really care about sphingolipids and glycosphingolipds and Phosphatidylinositols when Ohtani could be a Blue Jay?
  15. IN the offseason nobody has ever been confirmed to having seen Shohei at any point. Everything we know is conjecture. For all we know he's been kidnapped and replaced by a lookalike until a ransom is paid.
  16. So wait, the FBO at SNA had a PO for a G5 per the BJMB? OK.
  17. No, that was just an idiot that tried to fight me. And it wasn't his car, but the owner of the car saw it go down and was cool with it. We just popped the hood and pushed it back into place. Kid came back the next week and apologized.
  18. It helps, but to a very small degree overall.
  19. My one pro wrestling match was against 2 midgets in a promotion that I was participating in through a radio station and nightclub I was working at. Can-AM Wrestling came through to the nightclub for a small show, adn they advertised on the station i was at. At the time they had a few ex WWF guys on the roster, Doug Furnas, Phil Lafon, Kurrgan, and a couple others. They figured me, the radio DJ who was huge, would be a nice comedy act to wrestle the 2 midgets in a triangle match, help promote the show. It worked and it was a blast. They got into town earlier in the day, and I went to help set up the ring, go over the basic falls (f***ing christ they hurt...)running back and forth in the ropes, into the turnbuckles.... just enough to not cripple myself. We set out a basic match, and although I was all for the two midgets winning and hitting me with folding chairs to do so, they said they wouldn't do that for insurance reasons (understandable). All in all it was a night to remember. And yes, in the match against the midgets, I came up short.
  20. Still am, but at my worst i was 6'6" 473 that I am aware of. Could have been heavier but that was the heaviest I ever saw on a scale. was down to 360 a few months ago, next doctor visit they'll get the crane working again and see where I'm at but i find theat every belt loop I go down it's about 20 pounds. Im guessing im around 345-ish. Goal is 250 then we'll see how it looks from there. I've got a lot of muscle mass under there somewhere according to all the tests i've had done so the estimate is 250 is where I would probably be "normal" for my size and muscle mass. Hard to say for sure as I've never had the full like MRI-based body scan to determine fat, bone and muscle mass. They have one here at USask so I might wander over there one day
  21. Did you make up the Kikuchi and highend property thing?
  22. no doubt. If anything it makes it worse. Im down another belt loop since the semester started, another ....60-70 pounds to go.
