  1. Vlad is pulling out early right now.
  2. I guess the weird silver lining of it being KK that gets hurt is CF defense doesnt suffer, and the likely replacement for Varsho in LF wont hurt the offense either.
  3. Signing him and Soto in the next offseason would be wonderful. Hell even 1 of the 2 would be excellent.
  4. THat's it, get all the bad throws and bad reads out of the way now before it matters.
  5. Another defense miscue, Springer thought he was out of room and had another 2 steps. Should have had that ball.
  6. Nice to hear the Yariel is ahead of where they thought he'd be.
  7. Maybe just testing to see if it affects their approaches for the better or something, i dunno. Maybe they wont the two higher OBP guys together so Bo and his more aggressive style might be able to take advantage with guys on base more
  8. Biggio back to being passive again. What are you looking for?? All 3 in the happy happy launch zone were called strikes
  9. Wind is a factor, but yeah. Feels like Vlad would have had that foul in any MLB park
  10. Probably saves Lukes for a week or two
  11. Yeah. Even before sending him for an xray I think it's safe to expect he wont be in any more ST games.
  12. That's largely true. But the general truth of "no such thing as bad press" does have limits. Bauer is a prime example right now for MLB
  13. Oh yeah, like it won't destroy the sport or anything that's true. It's just the feeling of not wanting something you love get hurt, even though you know it's not fatal. It's kind of an extension of when your kid falls off a fence and breaks his or her arm. It won't kill them, but still, you'd rather it not happen.
  14. Ah s***, Kiermaier is dead. Foul ball off the right kneecap. Taken out of the game in the 1st.
  15. Looks like Vlad has already gained 15 pounds since spring started.
  16. Springer's bat speed looks like it might be back
  17. Accepted. It's a common mistake people make every day in life.
  18. I did, in the rest of the post that you chose not to include. Jim, you're always 3 steps behind when you think you're two steps ahead.
  19. Part of me absolutely would love to see that too. Exposing hypocrisy and watching suits squirm is rather enjoyable. But, on the other hand, it would be terrible for baseball, which I wouldn't enjoy at all. If he did break the rules, then I'm good with the tar and feathers regardless of the damage to the game.
  20. Youre an idiot, the entire post taken in context agrees with you.
  21. I said the exact same thing, that it was possible in that post. Yet your using a tiny fraction of the whole post as some kind of "gotcha" moment. Are you in the media?
  22. What was the point of yours Jim? I'm curious to know why you'd bring up something from a month ago but only use a fraction of the post rather than the whole thing. I mean it's almost like you wanted to show how you predicted that Tiedemann could be in the rotation, I disagreed in general but then qualified my opinion to include scenarios where it could most definitely happen, but...then yesterday you brought up your statement, but only the small part of mine where I disagreed in general like it was proof that you had some magical insight and I was somehow dismissive of it ...and now your bringing it back up to show " you smart, me dumb" But that couldnt be it right?
  23. And my full quote, rather than the cherry picked sentences "There might be a universe out there that exists where he does, but I don't think it's this one. Early ST setback (not serious) plus a very obvious innings cap from last year to this one...it's doubtful. Unless the Jays want to specifically use him as a 3 inning opener rather than carry a true 5th starter. I'm guessing that's not what they are planning and they'd rather have tiedemann getting the bulk of his innings towards the end of the season if he's up with the club Injury caveats to other pitchers nothwithstanding of course" If you're gonna try and dunk on me, you need more than one sentence taken out of context.
  24. I suspect the hitter there isn’t exactly digging in and feeling comfortable
  25. In the complex league sure.
