  1. Good call. I don't think there's anyone who is wrong more often on this forum. Good karma for the team.
  2. Much like the rest of his team, he's due for a setback.
  3. I hate to say it, but Grants is awful too.
  4. Welcome! Please join in on all of the discussions and ask any questions that you may have
  5. Ominous. Hope it's just a regular injury and not some serious health issue.
  6. Luckily, we won't have to face any of that fun next series.
  7. They give up 3 runs on a dribbler and a walked in run. Hilarious.
  8. 107 mph from Jansen. That's surely not an out very often.
  9. Damn, Danny. That was a rocket!
  10. Great play by a hustling Cimber and Vlad on the 2nd out too. All of that ST practice pays off.
  11. Bad optics ejecting German on Jackie Robinson day. Baldelli gets no such protection.
  12. I think I would prefer Cimber or Kikuchi here and Swanson saved for the top of the lineup.
  13. Six, six pitches! Ah ah ah
  14. I might bring out Kikuchi for yet another inning.
  15. 2nd in the league for DRS 17th in the league per UZR 22nd in the league per fangraphs OAA The metrics are somewhat useless, even in large samples.
  16. Our players with the top 4 lowest defensive values, according to fangraphs. I understand that UZR/150 is a better metric, but still. 1. Daulton Varsho (-1.5): The league's most valuable outfielder in 2022, also according to fangraphs. 2. Matt Chapman (-1.4): Platinum Glove winner and 2022 Gold Glove award finalist. 3. Whit Merrifield (-1.4): 2022 Gold Glove award finalist. 4. Vladimir Guerrero Jr (-1.2): 2022 Gold Glove for first base. These are really, really bad defensive numbers and are obviously incorrect. It's amazing how bad defensive metrics remain with all of the statistics and metrics available. The eye test still reigns supreme in some respects.
  17. That's 269 hits over a full season, which would easily surpass Ichiro's record.
  18. I wouldn't have minded Pop for another inning.
  19. I saw this in Pop last year when everyone was s***ing on him. Jordan Groshans suxxxxxx. What a great trade!!
  20. Richards wasn't really that bad. Two grounders, a K, and a soft liner. He's out of the inning already most times.
