    I'm not sure that home runs will ever be a big problem for Sanchez, but a ~4 ERA is what I projected in the offseason and most people, including you, thought that was out to lunch. Nice to see some recognition that I got it right.

    Sanchez is still getting more groundballs than Stroman despite that game plan. Not saying he's better or anything, but the increased K's haven't changed his contact profile.

    I was pretty impressed with Dickey yesterday, especially for an April start. Don't be fooled by the bottom line results.

    Probably 17-26 on any given day. One start hasn't changed much for me. I knew he was capable of being a solid starter.

    Oh yes, let's use FIP for a single start. The 8 inning gem against Houston was one of the best pitched games on the team all season. He had 2 walks and 7 K's in a start against Boston if that's your thing. His first start this year may have been a bit better, but let's not pretend that he hasn't looked like a dominant SP for stretches. The only reason this narrative comes up is so people who were wrong can use the 'he's a different pitcher, no one could have seen this coming' line.

    He had a couple of outings like this right before his DL stint last year. I was really disappointed that he got hurt, you could see him turning the corner.
