    It's just as likely that they would have a clean inning. You can't just say that since they scored off of pitcher A, they also would have scored off of pitcher B. All that 5.89 runs stat tells you is that they score .65 (or whatever, mental math) per inning. It's not like these things balance out on a game to game basis.

    Thanks for the recap, good job. I disagree with the grade on R.A. Dickey. We've seen this act before, he struggles in April and then turns it on, sometimes in Cy Young form like last year. He's already got an above average ERA and is giving us innings, so he gets a B- from me so far.

    It's funny how advanced stats were so incredibly important with regards to Sanchez, but don't matter as much for Estrada. It's almost as if a huge bias caused 99% of the forum to underestimate a talented young pitcher when they all claim to use logic.
