My updated top 10 Jays prospects:
1. Sean Reid-Foley
2. Anthony Alford
3. Jon Harris
4. Conner Greene
5. Richard Urena
6. Harold Ramirez
7. Rowdy Tellez
8. Reese McGuire
9. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
10. T.J. Zeuch
I had a very difficult time ranking prospects 3 through 9, as all 7 of them have a case for being top 150 prospects in baseball and perhaps even low top 100 in some instances.
Harold Ramirez looks like an extremely talented hitter and I may rank him higher in the future, but I need more time to get a feel for his fielding and speed, as well as his power potential. Complementing the hit tool with some power would give him the potential of an above average regular.
As for Reese McGuire, I need to see more from his bat before moving him up on the list. Fortunately, he's young enough and has enough bat speed to do just that. His receiving skills may indeed be elite (and I gave it weight in the rankings), but experience has taught me to be skeptical of those reports until we have some major league data. That's certainly not a criticism, just healthy skepticism of often unreliable reports.
