    That's disappointing. Everyone has had some drinks after dealing with girl problems, but it's too bad they had to get on the boat. It doesn't lessen the tragedy for me either way though.

    Rafael Palmeiro won a gold glove after playing just 28 games at 1B. I doubt there is a requirement.

    I'm curious to hear the responses of people (like hurl and most of the forum) who were skeptical when I said this throughout the season. I thought we were ranked too low last season and I liked the progress that a lot of our guys made.

    Urena needs an awful lot of refinement at shortstop before anyone anoints him as Tulo 's replacement. He made a careless play or error in almost every game I watched.

    I doubt it will work, but let's hope they have some success. MLB can surely accomplish their goal of reducing the amount of money going to foreign players in another way.

    We may not have the big name prospects of other teams, but I can count on one hand the number of teams that have better than Bichette and Harris in their 8 and 9 slots. That's impressive depth.

    The money isn't a huge deal, but I'd be really reluctant to go past 7 years for JD. I'd offer him 7/196 and if we're not close then we have the luxury of waiting another season and reassessing. Donaldson with 1 year left still gets you a pair of top 50 prospects.

    I'm not against any of those extensions, but they would have a minimal impact on the 2017 payroll.

    I'd be vary wary of basing trades on minor league framing numbers.

    It's also ignorant to automatically assume that all fans and teams have the same values as you when it comes to steroids. In a second tier league, they may be more concerned with an exciting product than some vague Western sense of fair play.
