  1. Frazier, Robertson, and Kahnle to Yankees.
  2. Frazier, Robertson, and Kahnle go to the Yankees. I'm intrigued to see who goes back. The Yankees have a lot of depth.
  3. Three prospects.
  4. This is certainly unexpected.
  5. Behind Bo in my opinion. I think that an argument can be made for Alford as well. Kopech still profiles as a guy who will struggle to start long term.
  6. Kopech would be third in our top 10 in my opinion. Their depth is considerably better though.
  7. We've been very good to the Fishercats for many years though. They don't have much to complain about.
  8. There is almost certainly a bias in the statistics, considering the lack of data for players like Cobb
  9. Osuna is far more deserving of an all-star berth, even before Betances' recent struggles.
  10. Wtf? It was a good play, nice reaction to the deflection and sidearm toss to first while he lost his footing.
  11. Solarte either fell asleep halfway through his signature or he doesn't know how to write.
  12. I care very much if players get better.
  13. I fail to understand why lack of projection isn't a valid criticism. Projection is a good thing whether a player throws 85 or 95.
  14. I liked the story about he was a kid in the Jays clubhouse and grew up with us as his favourite team. That's a little unique for older players given that our franchise is relatively young and based in a different country.
  15. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/ex-blue-jay-munenori-kawasaki-special-canada-day-message/sn-amp/ Pretty funny stuff.
  16. The frustrating thing is that we possibly had the money to do that. I really liked Carlson.
  17. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of high upside and projectable pitchers, but we nailed the first 2 picks so it looks ok for now. I was much happier coming out of last year's draft.
  18. I really doubt that.
  19. I don't think we have the money available, but Shane Drohan is a great target if we have some. He already throws 92 from the left side with some projectability and has a plus curve.
  20. Do we care what John Shannon thinks? His baseball knowledge has never impressed me.
  21. I think that we're in a good position to gamble on a high school arm like Alex Scherff with our third round pick. He's got good velo with some projectability and three plus pitches. I'd also look at Jacob Heatherly if the recent velo spike is something that he can maintain.
  22. I'm not against selecting him, but I think that they can and should wait longer than pick 99.
  23. The Spurs still compete with good teamwork and coaching, but that is a rarity in today's game. That series with the Warriors may have been amazing without the dirty play from Pachulia. Popovich knew everything that his former protege Mike Brown was going to do before he did it and the Spurs were dominating.
  24. I would hope that our front office at least gives him a couple of long interviews in order to understand the situation a bit better. If they are comfortable with drafting him after that process then I'm on board with it.
