    I don't know exactly what Hernandez is just yet, but it's clear to me that he's the one to go back to the minors. Granderson and Pearce are playing well and we need to see more of Morales before deciding to eat over 20 million. We're going to need him again this season, so we should preserve our depth.

    I'd honestly rather see Pearce at 2B. Defense be damned, at least he can hit the ball out of the infield.

    I think that the same could be said for Travis.

    I can't say for sure about Barker, but I have accepted that Pat Tabler knows a lot more about hitting than I give him credit for. He's really in tune with pitch selection and swing mechanics. Some guys just can't get it out in an intelligent manner.

    So we should be getting an extra roster spot for the doubleheader. Biagini seems like the most logical choice.

    We don't have the slightest clue what the team is offering and what the player is willing to take. Both sides have stated multiple times that they want to make a deal As for your second point: - The core of this roster has made the playoffs in two of the last 3 seasons. - This is the best start we have had in any of those seasons. - Fangraphs projections have us as a playoff calibre club (or very close, depending on how you define it).
