    Ah historically. I was just thinking this squad by next year if Chet takes a step forward could be something. The conference is weak enough where they could come out this year too, but doubt it

    OKC is not a finished product. It’s a bad comp. It’s not like a Buffalo Bills team that looked like it was on the rise but plateaued (even fell back a little) and stayed there.

    That would’ve even do it. They’d need to trade some of the controllable stars for vets that didn’t work out. Don’t think even Cohen would go there. I’m sure the deal won’t be finalized for many months, so at least it’s over starting next year.

    Yeah, I was joking as there’s guys like Acuna and Soto that are better. It’s just an odd choice. They did really try building up Vlad all along though for whatever reason. Maybe trying to appeal to Canadian market more idk

    Went hard probably equals offering around the same as other teams were offering. Not going to get people like that. I’m not saying it’s good to overpay for guys, but you were realistically not going to sign him, so no need to flex

    When something is true, I won’t deny it. It’s typically once per year, across the various leagues (1 total) where I make a careless mistake. I don’t take it for granted that someone will let me out of it though, so I certainly don’t mean to be careless. Dinger’s bro is my nemesis there. I have my eye on the matchups with him more than even my baseball leagues.

    Even Gibby said tell your FO to get you some players. Our manager is probably just happy to have his job and not be in the minors.

    They would get together and make the stance that it’s not good for baseball. Otherwise, there’s one owner that’s going to take the flyer, all things considered. Speculation but hard to not see it that way

    This sort of thing is circumstantial proof of collusion, but nothing that would hold up legally. I doubt all 30 owners are so bothered by his behavior that they wouldn’t take a super cheap flyer on something that traditionally considered gold (SP)

    Alcoholism is basically excused as a disease. Since he didn’t couple it with anything else that I recall (other than chair tossing etc), he won’t be held accountable for it. Well, except in the way of less FA$ that he otherwise would’ve gotten. Though wasn’t going to be big deal anyway
