    They overpaid for it because they showed their hand. That’s what they were setting out to do, going back to the Varsho trade. BTS can go stub his toe in a cow. Varsho was a career, below average bat. His 4.8 WAR was what got everyone’s pants tingling. There wasnt any offensive potential there unless you squinted until you could see it.

    RC was always a boom box where the ball carried. It doesn’t turn into a pitchers park with a couple fence tweaks. Whatever place the Jays OPS is, move it back for wRC+. They play in a hitters park but it looks like they’re going to go on an extended run of a boring brand of baseball.

    As usual, all you can do is just churn out a stat without any deeper thought to it. What if the Jays pitching and defense was really good and their hitting was crap. The end result may be a park factor that’s not the park itself, but the people playing on it. What a retard I am, I know. God forbid anyone thinks outside a box. OPS was outside of the Top 10, which was the better place for them. Still is, worse likely

    I traded him for one for one in bored for Holliday. Happy with that. I did a terrible trade with him in Bbdl that ranks as one of my worst in recent years. He was out all year and I needed a 3b and traded for Hayes, who the shine was gone on after his full season. I never really liked him coming up

So like IKF is a 1.5 win player, instead of seeing it as his contributions to the team aren’t of a balanced nature and his 1.5 WAR is not going to help the team like 1.5 WAR of offense would
