And DJL is looking for 5 years. Agents need to try bro. Precedent isn’t on JT’s side. 5/100 would be fair normally. I hope Jays wait if that’s their big move. As others have said, there’s always next year’s crop I’m also on Laila’s side that Jays already made a splash in past with solid hitting, really good defensive C... been there, done that. Hope they get a big bat somewhere else -

Didi’s D is about same averaged out and he’s more likely to provide plus offense. If he’s 2-3 years $12-14aav, Semien shouldn’t be more

I just don’t get how you take 3.8 WAR and assume that’s accurate. He was a negative defender for his first 5 years in the league and then his 28yo season he suddenly found his way and was +15.6? I realize he followed up with another such season but still, something is weird there clearly. What’s not weird is he’s only been more than league average with the bat 1 time on his 7 year career. Pretty sure latest contract predictions I saw was 2-3 years

I know it’s just a 2 game sample size but I wonder if getting lit up like an Xmas tree in the post-season hurt his chances for NY bringing him back. If he kept up the “ clutch SP” narrative it may have been a little harder to let him go.

Dunning > Danny J. Gets crapped on for the velo but the movement is really good. He’s a legit mid-rotation guy, not just ceiling if everything falls in place. I think Texas did ok. I’m sure they worked the phones and had other options
