Yessir I feel the exact same way. Vogelbach isn’t so valuable that you’re worried about losing him and Horwitz isn’t a blue chip 21 year old who you’re worried about controlling for an extra year. Get the kid in the big leagues and start earning some money. I get that some people won’t care about that but in my eyes it’s just doing the dude dirty Riding the bus, eating peanut butter sandwiches and sharing an apartment in Buffalo vs everything that comes with being a big leaguer. If I’m being honest (and I always am) I think it’s slimy to still be rostering this out of org slug in Vogelbach while Horwitz sits in AAA earning $3500 a week with more walks than strikeouts. He’s 26 and on the 40 man roster, and been in the org since 2019. Get the guy up here and let him earn some service time

Max what part of this is hard to follow? Biggio is essentially a zero. He has almost zero upside. He doesn’t hit for power, he doesn’t make a ton of contact, he plays two positions that the Jays really don’t need him at and he’s not a defensive messiah by any stretch The opportunity cost is players that have been let loose because of his firm grip on the 25th man spot, or those who have not been promoted because of it OR those who have rode pine so he can start 2B Depth Chart Schneider IKF Ernie Biggio Corner outfield depth chart Springer Varsho Schneider Biggio He could be the starting second baseman for the White Sox. That’s his true talent level at this point

The only choice is Vogelbach. Which is just replacing one left handed defensively limited player with another. Would rather just give the roster spot to Barger or Horwitz or somebody but we can’t pass up the marketing opportunity to get Joey Votto 246 at bats in a Jays uniform

You have to give consideration to the fact that he is a unicorn and that he did them both at an elite level. He’s on an island all by himself and that should be captured by the Hall of Fame

I don’t think Ohtani really has to do much more than he already has to make the HoF. The point of the hall should be to capture the game era by era or whatever, not just WAR accumulators

I really have no issues with anyone. I honestly couldn’t care less what people do outside of a few deranged type behaviours I just think it’s funny when grown ass men attach their identity to sports teams
