Cole Hamels is like a sexier MB. Since 2008 the guy has made at least 30 starts every year, only missing the 200 IP plateau in 2009 by 6.1 innings. He's never posted an xFIP above 3.73 in his career, and gets ground balls at a nice clip. Fastball velocity on par with his career.
His contract will look a lot more reasonable once guys like Cueto, Grienke, Price and Zimmerman are signed in the offseason.
I think if anyone makes sense for the Blue Jays, it's Cole Hamels.
