My calculations show me that there is about 1/7 chance that these players are someday returning Billy Beane a 60% ROI given that Josh Donaldson is already almost 30 and if the Blue Jays fail to make the playoffs (1/3) over the next 5 years (1/2) that will push that number up higher.

The Mets aren't trading five years of a top 25 pitcher for one year of a aging, declining slugger. They have Duda at first base too, which makes the Mets and Jays unlikely trade partners for Edwin.

Plot twist: Chris Davis' Hard Hit% is the greatest of his career, while his Soft% is at it's lowest. I don't buy this as much more than noise, but interesting to note.

The argument here isn't whether or not it is performance enhancing, because I think most can agree that it is. The argument is whether or not it enhances performances enough to bring up his Adderall usage every time someone talks about him as a hitter. Does it really make him that much greater of a hitter that we need to question his abilities without it? I don't think so.
