  1. Immediate life time ban from Yankee Stadium was the only acceptable reaction
  2. He actually did that’s no joke. The literal mic drop at the end was so bad I had second hand embarrassment from it
  3. Dodgers were lucky Yankees were unlucky
  4. I will be satisfied with not losing position
  5. I’ve never thought that but now I won’t be able to unsee it
  6. Putting my Dodgers hat on for the next ten days
  7. I don’t know who these Ivy League guys are but man it would be nice to take the chance and add new blood
  8. I think all pitchers should be taught to throw their pitches where the hitters can’t hit it
  9. Aren’t NHL players trying to score when they shoot? Why don’t NBA players shoot 100% from the line?
  10. It was a great at bat. Sometimes you have to just tip your cap
  11. I never said you can’t criticize them but you’re acting like you’re on your PS4 picking quadrants and locations He went 0-2 to Stanton and then threw three pitches trying to get the chase. He wouldn’t bite. Then he hung a breaking ball which obviously wasn’t his intent, but it was a great at bat from Stanton to go from 0-2 to an advantage count
  12. This isn’t MLB the show These guys aren’t meaning to hang breakers The ball Soto hits out was above the zone clearly Bibee should’ve buried the curve ball in the dirt sure but there’s a difference between a strike to ball out of the hand and a ball the entire way You’re being extremely critical of the best players in the entire world in extreme pressure environments
  13. Stanton 8 for 40 at Progressive Field in the post season all time 8 home runs
  14. A good point was made on the broadcast last night In a day and age where teams are scared to let a starter face a team a third time through the order they will trot the same relievers out to face guys multiple times
  15. If that’s what Bregman ends up with then I agree
  16. The can really only add at two spots and that’s LF or 3B though and there are zero 3B I would want to sign as free agents Ernie Clement should become Chris Taylor and just play everywhere
  17. We don’t know what the farm system will look like in July. All it takes is a couple players to pop and then you have capital to spend
  18. 4M each of his final three years is paid by COL which isn’t nothing. Obviously the luxury tax number matters, but the actual commitment looks like 2025 - 17M 2026 - 12M 2027 - 11M Probably a move they should consider if they are going to be serious in 2025. They need upside more than anything Bregman looks like a time bomb to me. I wouldn’t want to be saddled with the contract he’s going to get. Plus imagine just taking another round of Houston’s sloppy seconds and paying them on the wrong side of their careers
  19. Olerud is on a heater tonight
  20. Lol 😂
  21. I can’t be the only one who read this as the Tampa Tampons
