  1. JD Davis would be interesting too I think. McMahon is an okay option. I don’t want Moncada at all
  2. Kikuchi needs 14 hours of sleep, I assume he’s extremely routine oriented. Not sure I’d mess with that
  3. I wouldn’t mess around with Kikuchi and just leave him in the rotation. Maybe the WC series you have him in your back pocket but in a 5 or 7 game series he’s getting at least one start for me
  4. Yes Brian I am interested in what you’re looking for as well
  5. 100%. Not counting on Manoah at all. MikeM is going to hate when the Jays sign another veteran starter but they pretty much have to
  6. Because there’s no 3B on the market. He probably declines but if he doesn’t you’re only committed to one more season Which is key because there are at least two guys in the upper minors who might be able to takeover in 2025 in Barger and Martinez. If Chapman declines it’ll be interesting to see how they fill third next year
  7. No kidding there’s tons I’d probably try and poach the splitter out of Sam Francisco again and target Cobb
  8. My bad 😎
  9. Enjoy the ride. There have been lots of years where games in September have meant nothing to this team
  10. Texas should probably call up Langford at this point. He’s probably making the opening day roster and you’re fighting to get into the playoffs. The new rules for rookies has made it so that teams are incentivized to call up these guys to help them down the stretch and then begin their rookie year in the bigs. Good for the players
  11. Junior Caminero looks like a force for years to come. He destroyed AA in his age 19 season. Rays lose Franco and replace him with Caminero. Crazy development
  12. Doesn’t have to be Ryu but you have to bring in a bonafide big league rotation piece. Ryu should come cheap and familiarity on both ends
  13. Ya ideally you offer Chapman the QO and he declines and you take the pick. It’s nice at least that there only appears to be one infield position to fill now instead of two
  14. It would be nice if Mitch White made me eat my words
  15. I honestly never even think of Moreno
  16. Maybe Atkins had a chub for Varsho and was his #1 target. 5 WAR outfielder. Or maybe Moreno wasn’t as highly valued around the league as we thought. Rookie catcher is a tough fit
  17. My comment is that Gabby Moreno and Corbin Carroll were in two different classes as prospects even though Moreno was once a top fiver Atkins would’ve had his number blocked if he asked for Carroll for Moreno Moreno has 1.7 fWAR and so does Varsho I don’t think there is super star upside in the bat. Maybe the same chance there is super star upside in Varsho’s bat. Both players look like nice 2-3 WAR pieces who are excellent defenders up the middle. Kinda funny that they arrive at the same type of value in different ways Of course Moreno is controlled for two extra years which isn’t nothing.
  18. Man it feels like 6-4 shouldn’t be that hard
  19. I would offer Chapman the QO and try to bring back Ryu. The other two can walk.
  20. I think Moreno was vastly overrated here because he was a “top 5” prospect He was a top 5 prospect because of the high probability to be a 2-3 WAR player. Not because he is gonna go 30/50 like Corbin Carroll
  21. Hahaha yup “He’s having a hell of a night! I know you have the biggest strike zone in the league but come on!”
  22. Lmao okay Sick name drop I always hoped to meet someone who knew the Jays dietitian’s email
