    It sucks to admit it but the Red Sox offense looks stacked. 7 deep since Campbell and Wilyer Abreu seem to be good players. Berrios vs Crochet is a weight class mismatch so have to hope the Dick does not Fitt(s) tonight and then hope the Jays' LHB can get to Houck on Wednesday. Basically the team with the fewest HR in baseball, the Blue Jays, will need to outslug a good offense this series. Time for Vlad to single handedly win a series!

    and it's not even like there have been a good number of warning track shots or just foul cranks this team is driving nothing 3rd last in MLB in barrel rate #26 in ISO #7 in MLB in oppo rate #24 in FB rate #3 in MLB in IFFB rate #28 in stolen bases I hope you guys like singles because that's pretty much all the 2025 Blue Jays know how to do.

    Even if he finally does turn into Miguel Cabrera (has serious work to do) from ages 27 on, there will be 7 dead years on the end of this deal. Ages 20 to 25 since 1970: Soto is #7 with 32.6 fWAR, Vladito is #75 with 16.9 fWAR. Four tenths of a win above Adam Dunn. 1.4 wins behind John Olerud. Good for Vlad for getting the best of Ed Rogers but man oh man. I guess the best case scenario here is something like Bryce Harper with PHI for the first half of the contract?
