  1. Brad Peacock looks nervous... http://i.imgur.com/ttVm69C.png
  2. I'd like to thank FTD for trying to squat on pitching ratios, allowing me to save some adds. May the best man lose, as usual
  3. My advanced scouts love Peacock this week I had no choice but to add some innings given how the starts fell, Guerra getting shut down, Wainwright probably being a dead body (only start is @ Coors) etc. I dunno. Let's go bats!
  4. *throws a Junior Guerra at the hungry peasants*
  5. They would just necessarily win because Britton is a 100/100 closer duh
  6. Ugh I'm so nervous. I need this so bad. I already have two bronze medals. It's my time!
  7. Also, saves, holds, K/BB could possible tie or flip.
  8. Is that a lava lamp I see in your room?
  9. jesus christ and the guy just drove off? wow
  10. Errrr maybe not.
  11. Keep 4 life: Ryon Healy or Miguel Sano?
  12. Sometimes I feel like you are a Leprechaun and everything you post is a riddle and in some way my life depends on understanding. http://www.fairyist.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/leprechaun-horror.jpg
  13. Jean Segura has 8 home runs against me already... this week... in the playoffs. He has 12 home runs in real life in the last two years TOTAL. Jean Segura
  14. Hiring an ex-GM into a non-GM role is almost always a huge win. I care very little about how good Cherington was as Boston's GM.
  15. Well baseball teams play every day so the day-to-day designation is a lot more literal (except for September) compared to hockey. In puck sometimes a team has like four days off and you'll see teams squat on IR decisions for frustratingly long periods of time. If your goalie is hurt but you only play once in the next six days you might not even bother IRing him for a week.
  16. well I didn't even watch the game soooo... possible
  17. 3.33 xFIP in the AL East. Arguably the best SP on the team. simmer down, geniuses.
  18. I really would rather not be bothered into commissioner adding someone's lame prospect a few times every year...
  19. If I was considering this de novo the rule would definitely be prospect promotion = a weekly add (with the limited exception of if someone is at 5 adds already and they need to promote to facilitate a trade.) With the rule already stated in the past I figured it only fair that it should apply to your situation. But if you are cool with new rule then new rule it is, for now and always. Prospect promotions are basic weekly adds. DINGER ADD THIS TO THE OFFICIAL RULES. I recently switched to an iPhone and I finally realize that simpler = better.
  20. Ok, I hired King to dig through the DDL archives and he found my old rule about this situation. Because that ^ is on the record, it HAS to apply to the current situation. This is just such a rare situation that everyone forgot about it. In most weeks (95%+) owners don't even reach 5 adds. It's so rare for a playoff team to have a good, addable prospect during the playoffs that it simply has not come up. The fact that this has arisen exactly once in between that rule being stated (March 31 2014) and now demonstrates that this issue is exceedingly minor. Accordingly, the rule will not be altered because it is not a pressing concern.
  21. This is a complex web of precedent and policy. I agree that this matter requires the discretion of a Darrell. I'll turn my attention to this as soon as I can and render a clarifying decision.
