Yeah it's probably hard to even talk to a player about changing their approach when they've hit .340 all the way up the ladder. Tapia's prime issues with breaking through are probably defense and speed utility. Apparently he can't play CF and it also seems like he's an awful baserunner for some reason.

I saw a tweet that his last pitch of the game was 99mph. My internal scouting report database has his velocity range as 89-94. Big developments for the Butt Stallions, if true.

Looking to make a small trade to clear a roster spot - Lonnie Chisenhall or Scott Schebler for maybe a 3rd round pick or something like that. Both have CF eligibility. Lonnie is supa hot fire right now and Scott is interesting and objectively better than Jessie Winker

Look, if you want to get pumped about an 18th round, 100k player in A ball, go right ahead.

Not a lot of public scouting information. It's too early to get excited about a college draftee in A ball--he's a bit old for the MWL. It's not uncommon for random college players to succeed in the low minors. It's obvious he can hit to some extent. It's also really nice that he's playing around the diamond (1B/2B/3B); he's not just some pure 1B/DH profile. But, unless he starts clobbering A+ and AA, he's not even in the org top 20. And even if he hits a bit in the upper minors and has some defensive value or versatility, that might not make him a real MLB prospect. One old Jays prospect I could comp would be Brad Glenn, if you want a fringe college draftee example who did climb to ladder but flopped. So I would say - he has the potential to have some limited potential.

House was super intriguing when he came up. He had excellent peripherals, OK stuff, good pitchability. Then he got hurt and his stuff went to s***. If he's healthy, it's reasonable to get ever so slightly excited about what he can maybe do. I remember when both he and Bolsinger were popular speculative upside plays in deep fantasy leagues.

RE: Leonys Martin I think it's exceedingly likely that the Mariners are able to work out a trade. Toronto probably won't get a chance to claim him. Would they trade something for him? Maybe.

It's bad but not horrendous. Brett Oberholtzer is also making a strong call-up case. Spinning a good game today so far (5 IP, 4 K, 1 BB, 1 ER) and his ERA is sitting at 1.29 through ~3 starts.
