Alfaro is a bit of a freak athlete. Cannon arm, big raw power that should show up at some point. I think he's going to be pretty good, he just doesn't project to be good right now. He's like a rich man's JPA.

Probably depends what you think of Jorge Alfaro. I guess it's a fair trade. Alfaro has been decently productive but there is downside risk there. I retract my penis up into my body.

Focusing on his "defensive shortcomings" does amount to hating on him if you're not willing to admit that he's a good player all things considered. You said above you would not want him on the ice in the third period of a game 7. Basically, your judgment of him is clouded by an irrational focus on whatever "defensive shortcomings" you perceive.

Sounds like a shortstop with great range who makes a lot of errors because he touches the ball more than other shortstops.

I think this makes sense. Two day freeze on all league trades, just until the dispersal draft actually starts. Then the teams in the draft will have assets to deal for whoever they want. And So It Is Decided.

I think we do Friday midnight as the opt-in deadline. Start the thing the next day. Yahoo email blast about the dispersal will go out tonight. I am opting in.

Okay, Goldbull it is. I will transfer the Yahoo team tonight. I have pm'd TRM about doing a dispersal draft. If he says no, then this will just be a straight team takeover. If TRM says yes (and GB wants to as well), then any other owner will be allowed to opt in if they so choose and we will have a dispersal draft with at least two teams participating. For these reasons, expect the cut date this year to be first week of March and the waiver draft to bleed into week 2 of March.

I called a couple of references and they said good things - welcome! Your team will be part of a dispersal draft if therealmin wants to opt into one (if he doesn't you will just take over GD's team). If he does, we will also allow any other current owners in the league to opt in, so it may expand. -

I know, but this is a formality. If he wants to list you as a reference he can. Not sure why he would though -
TRM and the new owner could do a mini dispersal draft, if they both want. Any other owners with garbage teams would be allowed to opt into it.
