    I have never been dissatisfied with SHATKINS but what specifically Ross Atkins brings to the table as the GM has always been questionable. I could see a GM change making sense. Maybe Shapiro was using Atkins this whole time as the organizational punching bag while the team goes through a transition phase. Now that the transition phase is nearing an end, time to get someone who can actually pull some high level GM s*** off, rather than slowly assemble depth through nickle and dime moves?

    The Ohtani dilemma is solved in the DDL. I am trading POhtani to Goldbull for Robles and Goldbull's 1st round pick. He also gets my 2nd round pick in the deal. Robles might be a bit of a s***** slap hitter but YEXIT was my doing so I'm willing to eat a bit of value and lose the opportunity to own dual-threat Fantrax Ohtani. At least the pick is sufficiently high (just outside the lottery) and there is at least a decent chance I can find an Eloy/Hiura type talent in the 2020 MiLB draft. Hopefully the Ohtani owners in BORED can come to a similar, quick resolution. Praying for you guys.

    The mental image of tercet lurking the forum every one in a while, and trying to login to see if he is still banned, is just too sweet. Hi tercet! Nice to see Hechavarria in the MLB playoffs. He deserves it.

    I can't see Ohtani ever giving up on pitching, whether or not it might be the "right decision". He's just so f***ing good on the mound. Even if he has TJS again I would bet on him rehabbing and making another mound comeback attempt. I mean it's Verlander/Cole/Scherzer type stuff. He's also a good hitter and would probably be a really good full time outfielder, but that seems like the safer and lower upside route. I would not predict that bat Ohtani will ever really be a better offensive fantasy asset than we've already seen, which is a decent but frustrating UTIL player (barring a horrific arm injury that kills his pitching career entirely). In fact, when he's back on the bump I would guess that the Angels will actually limit his DH days even more than in 2018 while he was pitching, in an attempt to limit taxation on his body and prevent injuries.

    Yeah the Cards v Barves both don't look good, so that one's about even. Dakota Hudson is an Aaron Sanchez type and Keuchel on short rest is who the f*** knows. I think the Rays - Astros is about even. Big edge Nats IMO I will give the Twinks a 51% chance to win. Yankees losing would be good for me in the pool.

    I like the Twins to stay alive today. Not enough to pick them, but they are at home, have a good offense, and who knows what Severino will show up with.

    Does anyone know of a board member who would want silverbum's team? Also, in my absence as available commissioner Boxcar, Dinger, and P2F will be co-head-commissioners, jointly and severally, with all powers that I have as supreme leader save and except the ability to make unilateral and arbitrary decisions of high importance.
