There's a right price for him even without the extension. He has value above his 1/$21M (likely) salary and he is a difference maker. The trade cost in terms of prospects should not be tremendous but if most teams would happily pay Trevor Bauer 1/$30M to 1/$35M then it might be reasonable to say that Lindor is worth a prospect package worth something like $10M or $15M. It saves the acquiring team the trouble of bidding for him.

He's still in terrible shape. If he has lost 30 pounds from his peak weight, he must have been disgusting. Not only is he still pretty fat, he doesn't even look strong. He looks like a chubby college senior who hasn't worked out or played sports since high school.

I don't think Seattle is throwing in a prospect with Seager. He's a solid player, a good veteran for them, popular with fans. They'd probably want a lesser prospect back, in fact. They also don't have any top IF prospect knocking on the door, so no immediate replacement unless they think Ty France is a real 3B. -
Yeah I think the Springer stuff is a little too forced. He could fit in Toronto but the fit is imperfect and he is far from the team's biggest need. It would be more prudent to be aggressive for an infielder like DJLM or Turner + a SP.
