Yeah he caught like 100+ games this year. Hard to see him becoming a full time 1B any time soon. If Andrew Susac translates all of his skills to the big leagues then maybe it gets interesting with Buster, Susac, and Belt all in the picture.

I'm not so sure. Relievers are just so f***ing fragile... In theory you can pay a 3rd/4th rounder for a closer right now, and then if their talent holds, flip them for a 2nd after the season gets under way, but in reality you run the risk of having that guy turn into a 2014 Grant Balfour, and you might have cut a lottery ticket for that chance to win ten bucks.

The player Gibbers gets doesn't have to be anywhere near Tanaka or Abreu to make him worth more than Trevor Rosenthal though.

I guess #4 overall in the waiver draft for Rosenthal is fairly interesting. Could be complete shite for Gibbers, or it could end up being a home run. I have no idea how many sexy IFA players there are this year, or unowned relevant MiLB prospects that have touched AA. Haven't done any research. I mean, I'd probably trade a reliever, even with Rosenthal's projections, for someone like Alex Guerrero.
