  1. I'm not saying that a queue to get into the DDL actually exists, but if it did exist, hypothetically, the person who takes thehurl's team over for a year, runs it responsibly, and then gives it back to him whenever he wants, would probably jump to the top of that imaginary queue.
  2. I don't think keeping Chatwood is necessarily a good idea, but the guy touches 97. It's a gamble on velocity + youth, which is one of the better characteristic combinations to take a long shot bet on.
  3. What a f***ing terrible trade for Atlanta. Wow. The Yanks BP is now insane, on paper. They have 6+ relievers that are better than every Blue Jays RP not named Cecil or Loup.
  4. Also v good bats. Probably a top 3 team through the cut.
  5. Well I'm not about to whip out irrelevant things like Shark Tank crowns. 20 team deep leagues are all that matter at this point and I've only been in 5 seasons worth. Also, don't make me add your fantasy baseball resume to my sig, you pathetic wanker!! 11 of 20 20 of 20 4 of 14 10 of 10 5 of 20 12 of 16 20 of 20 3 of 12 17 of 20 12 of 20 8 of 12 9 of 14 8 of 14 9 of 14 holy f*** that's bad! wanker!
  6. Travis Snider being a top 10 prospect was the only thing that kept them our of the discussion for worst farm. IIRC they were ranked about 25th by most.
  7. You know you're jealous of my PL hardware + DDL podium finish.
  8. Man, being mediocre at fantasy baseball is really making you bitter.
  9. Bashing a 4th rounder for junk SP trade is pretty unbecoming, BTS/GD.
  10. He's really not that different from most prospects. Even with good minor league number very few guys can make the leap without making a big adjustment somewhere. Sanchez needs to figure something out, like everyone else does.
  11. Skaggs is v good Beachy is v dead Chatwood for 61 is v insignificant
  12. Sanchez is more extreme though. Higher GB%, higher K%, higher BB% in the minors. Big issue with Sanchez' minor league numbers though is the trend, of course. 2014 was gross.
  13. Right. Obviously he needs to improve. Nobody should think he can translate as is.
  14. It's really hard to interpret just how much Sanchez' extreme GB tendencies will be able to compensate for the poor PD stats. You see a lot of guys like Marco Estrada, Joe Blanton, and the new Timmy Lincecum that can miss bats and limit walks, but they get pounded when guys guess right and put a good swing on it. Sanchez is like the polar opposite of that. A hitter can look fastball, get it, put a good swing on it, and then hit a s***** groundball because the thing it coming at 96 and moving halfway across the plate.
  15. lol I didn't even notice how low Osuna was. But I actually think it's fair to have Osuna lower than some people (like you) do, based on the alarming lack of innings in four pro years.
  16. hmmm... the only one that I think could/should have been above him is Hoffman, and he gave them the same grade anyway.
  17. Have you ever seen him play? It's safe to assume that the guy who went 11th overall has an intriguing talent profile. It's not like everybody is pumping up a 3rd rounder or something.
  18. Tomato Tomahto In case you didn't notice I was doing my best Jaysblue impression with those last two paragraphs. Your team is pathetic and you are a pathetic wanker!
  19. C - Josmil Pinto 1B - Joey Votto 2B - Neil Walker 3B - David Wright SS - Ben Zobrist CF - Denard Span (Pompey) OF - Alex Gordon OF - Steve Pearce UTIL - Chris Davis SP - Max Scherzer SP - Hyun-Jin Ryu SP - Jake Arrieta SP - Danny Salazar SP - Jon Niese SP - Jason Hammel SP - Matt Moore SP - AJ Burnett RP - Greg Holland RP - K Rod RP - Darren O'Day I'm keeping K.Rod but he's on the block for anyone looking for a closer. O'Day is fringe. I could end up keeping a trade acquisition or a 10th bat like Quentin/Moose/Ruiz over him. I'd be fine with 7 SP so I'm open to trading almost any one of them. Outside of Pompey I don't really have any 2015 impact prospects. Manaea and Harvey are probably at least a year away. Chris Taylor is decent SS depth but so low-upside. Jose Ramirez (NY) has a live arm so I guess there's always an outside shot the he turns into a high K holds guy at any moment. Farm in general is a bit thin since I cashed in some prospects this offseason, trading Michael Taylor, Raimel Tapia, and Hunter Renfroe (along with Stroman who was a recent promotee). I'd say that my farm is definitely lower half right now mostly due to a lack of depth (top end is fine).
  20. what do you mean? official rosters = google doc
  21. It's against the rules to mention the BBDL in this thread unless you're making fun of it. First and final warning. Severe penalties for disobedience.
