Guys, Navarro set up down the middle because he had no idea where the kid's curveball would go. He probably didn't even have a location in mind. The pitch was garbage. You hangy, Ortiz bangy almost every time, unless he's literally never seen you before. Give Navarro 100% of the credit for that K for simply calling the correct pitch type.

And in the mirroring baseball league he owns Trout, Harper, and Stanton. Basically, he made these leagues, stocked them with his real life friends, and then charged everyone an entry fee before ripping off all of the people that only he knew were rubes. Now we're all stuck in a cycle of perpetually playing second fiddle to a fantasy sports sociopath.

That's bananas. I think you'd have to be ecstatic with a ~.360 + no missed time. It's hilarious how elite your offense would be if this was a 2011 league. Ellsbury - .321/32/39sb Bautista - .302/43 Braun - .332/33/33sb Cano - .302/28/118 rbi Miggy - .344/30/105 Pujols - .299/37/99 Ortiz - .309/29/96 Also, Craig and Desmond would have been assets.

What are the odds that Toronto starts the year with Navarro and Thole both still on the 25 man? I'd say uncomfortably high.

I don't even know what injuries he's had tbh. I remember he had surgery, and this year he had the mumps lol.

He has 2nd line / power play unit upside which could mean great things in Pittsburgh, but injuries have really stalled his development and any type of reasonable outlook has him probably playing mostly 3rd line minutes in the short term (rest of this year + start of next year). The Pens staff talk about the creativity/offense that he brings to the 3rd line but also the defensive influence that he brings to the 2nd line with Malkin... who really knows. He'll probably just get hurt again and I'll end up cutting him after 2015/16.

Last two years in the upper minors he's been a K-per-game player that's hit .230 and .267. His power in the minors hasn't been overly impressive, and on top of that, he smokes drugs!. Basically, I don't think he has enough power to cover for what I see as a very weak hit tool for a 1B prospect. I don't see him as a big leaguer, but even if he squeaks by I think he's a 20-25 HR version of Adam Dunn with a bit less walks, which would be, more or less, a replacement level player who only really gets consistent playing time based on "production".

Maybe on opening day, but I don't think it will be long until Carter/Gattis are playing 1B/DH, Singleton is optioned or on the bench, and Marisnick/Grossman/Presley are in some OF spot.
