  1. 92 touching 95. It did seem flat. He'll have to hit his spots. Didn't seem to really sink it or cut it ever, which Happ does do.
  2. I think they should really hold on to Boyd. The Donaldson trade (and others) have removed a lot of the young SP depth from Toronto's system. You can only dip into the same well so many times.... With Buehrle and Dickey expiring soon, if you move Sanchez and Boyd for a one year SP, the 2016 depth chart will look pretty gross/thin
  3. Also very ugly and, I'm assuming, a terrible human being.
  4. Tim Locastro has 5! homers now. The slap hitter has a .120 ISO and .857 OPS. Promote the man, god dammit.
  5. No! This doesn't make any sense. He's overrated and can't strike people out. Look at his college stats
  6. I'm pretty sure he's received basically nothing for every big player he's traded in recent years. Can we name one player they got for Pence or Victorino?
  7. Alex Gordon basically leads that team in both ISO and OBP, and Ned Yost bats him 6th. lmao KC
  8. Anybody want their dick sucked for like, a 3rd rounder?
  9. Any rebuilding team want Steve Pearce for like, a 2nd rounder? I'm ready to cut my losses, Allen Craig style. Still projects for a 115 wRC+ and is now 2B eligible, so probably a nice buy low.
  10. Anyone want Nicasio for like, a 4th rounder? SP eligible holds guys with good ratios are fun.
  11. Ben Revere is annoying because I don't think I can justify just dropping him
  12. The Jays' rotation is so uninspiring right now that if Boyd was their best SP for the rest of the year, most of us wouldn't even be that surprised
  13. If you can throw 96 all day, sure. Not if you're 91-92 touching 96...
  14. Cole Hamels' avg fastball in his career is 91.1 mph, fyi. Boyd has plenty of velo from the left side. With his command (stat scouting), his fastball is probably a 60 grade pitch.
  15. They just gave Scott Copeland three starts, lol. I felt almost #blessed watching Boyd today.
  16. very nice strike and whiff % on the slider/slurve
  17. The curveball isn't very good at all. Nothing but a show me pitch. The slurve is promising though.
  18. Certainly good enough stuff to earn a few more starts. He reminds me of Happ, a little bit. Throws more breaking balls and has better command though (this doesn't mean he'll be as good as Happ or better). I definitely think he's a big leaguer starter.

Still in shock that my favourite team traded Seguin, Soderberg, Lucic, Hamilton, and Boychuk in the last couple of years, and has so little to show for it. I don't follow amateur hockey so no idea if any of Boston's picks this year were good, but I highly doubt any of them will ever be as good as Hamilton or Lucic.
  20. Poor Matt Boyd... Has to throw to Navarro in his debut.
  21. lol, Rendon is hurt again. That's what, his third independent injury this year?
  22. I think I speak for everyone when I say: fhgwghads
  23. Hmmm. Didn't really earn it, but he's probably never going to hit anyway and he's 24. Alford pushed him up, I guess?

Hoops Addict ‏@hoopsaddict 8m8 minutes ago Toronto now has max cap room. Not sure if anyone will bite, but Raps will be flirting with elite free agents this summer. Big move.
