Decent contact by Simpson that is a double play with normal defensive alignment - left a fastball in the middle of the plate though. Hangs another splitter to Lowe. Then throws a couple of good sliders to Caminero before hanging the home run pitch. I don't really know what is going on. Nothing? Just bad luck? Pitch selection issues? There is an argument to made that he should dial down the splitter and lean more on his FB-SL. Save the splitter as something to surprise lefties, maybe throw it 10% or 15% of the time.
