  1. Yes, probably, although if you squint you can sort of see some appreciation for modern value (WAR), value vs. contract analysis, modern defensive stats, team win curve position, etc.
  2. Actually, he made some good SABER moves early on in his reign. League for Morrow, Sea Bass for Yunel, junk for Rasmus, Marcum for Lawrie, all of that awesome draft pick gaming - these things were widely and appropriately applauded. And then he got antsy and impatient and made the Marlins and Mets trades...
  3. Not much, but it's still significant. I would expect Seager to be a hair better in every slashline category. The separation comes from playing time outlook. Seager is 100% guaranteed to play every day, forever. Dietrich could struggle a bit and end up platooning, or whatever.
  4. Yes - Shoemaker for Dillon Tate. Kind of a weird one for BTS to make, he doesn't usually trade projectable MLB assets for low minors lottery ticket guys without a lot of data.
  5. Well he's hitting a lot of flyballs in Marlins park. Both the ISO and BABIP will shrink eventually, it's just a question of how much.
  6. The rapist Kane or the black Kane?
  7. I never understood BTS' deep desire to move Turner, and I still don't.
  8. Jake Arrieta was the #8 player in Yahoo before his masterpiece tonight. It's crazy that Baltimore and Jaysblue got rid of him when they did.
  9. keepah sleepahs who helped me win the whole f***ing thing last year, that's who
  10. Anyone want to maybe swap a holds guy for part-time closer Kevin Jepsen?
  11. I guess just health. Anderson made 32 starts TOTAL from 2011 to 2014, while Anibal made 113 and amassed 16.1 fWAR. They project for fairly equal skill but Anibal should have more K's and a better K/BB, so that's more tailored for the DDL
  12. Marian Hossa Nick Foligno Sidney Crosby Zach Parise Jarome Iginla Scott Hartnell Dmitrij Jaskin Jean-Gabriel Pageau Mike Green Hampus Lindholm Dennis Wideman Ben Bishop Marc-Andre Fleury Artem Anisimov Milan Michalek My keepahs
  13. Deadline deal: Souza + Anibal to Torontofan Brett Anderson + Fowler to me Clearly a win for Torontofan. His team was playoff calibre this year, just missed out, and now he's already made a big rotation upgrade for 2016 while also adding a 20/20 talent. My favourite thing about the two guys that I got is that they aren't currently on the DL. Aside from that, Fowler kind of sort of helps out in some categories that I suck at.
  14. Yeah, Yahoo sometimes doesn't follow the rules.
  15. idk, maybe it's the age and the .130 ISO
  16. These old "Guinness style" Labbatt's Blue posters for the Blue Jays are f***ing wicked. I wonder where I can get one. Probably kijiji. http://www.baseball-collect.com/images/Poster%20Jays%20Labatts%20Twins.jpg http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/Mzk3WDYwMA==/z/0U4AAOSw~gRVkt5F/$_35.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDY2Mw==/z/pKoAAOSwLVZVz29v/$_35.JPG
  17. Coors/Bud/Canadian = all garbage, but anyone who would turn their nose up at a free beer = an even bigger pile of snob garbage
  18. Chen blows. Chen for Choo is already borderline trape for featherD. That he offered less is humorous.
  19. I was shocked that Rivera gave BEN REVERE the stop sign on the groundball single.
  20. Luis Rivera is a very bad third base coach.
  21. I'm not even a huge Puig fan but I'd still take him about a full round before Bumgarner in a fresh draft.
  22. All of your dudes are like mega old tho
