  1. I can't see the Mets making this deal without being at least 90% sure they're signing Lindor to an extension. I would love a DJL signing with his defensive versatility and that bat.. I guess not landing Lindor has an upside of not losing prospect capital. We haven't heard much on Realmuto which actually makes me optimistic on possibly landing him. Realmuto/Moreno/Kirk combo would be nice.
  2. Off season of Hendriks and Walker coming up.
  3. C'mon Shatkins step the f*** up. Lindor would have been a perfect fit here.
  4. I'd rather take on the back end of a Lindor deal for the simple fact that it's a lot longer away. Stud SS for the next 10 years with the first 7 being performed at an elite level with the last three most likely being a bit above average sounds better than signing Springer through years 31-36/37 where you'll most likely get 3 years of the current product, sounds better to me, regardless of asset losses.
  5. f*** Springer, he won't fit here. Concentrate on Lindor or throw that money at DJL and then sign JBJ.
  6. Yet? I think/hope Shapiro has a realization that Moreno will end up being our guy sooner rather than later. Even if we sign Realmuto, roughly a third of the season will be beneficial being caught by the back up, while mixing Realmuto through the DH spot. Moreno is the most athletic catcher in the system and his bat is looking more and more like it will play. I hope he doesn't trade him unless it's absolutely necessary.
  7. Do you actually watch the game, or just follow on an app? If you are watching then you would see that Snell was dealing with only 73 pitches thrown. If you weren't watching, then you still have to question the move as only one ball was hit over 100mph (105) on a single. Everything else was was hit 94mph or less.
  8. C'mon man.. An elimination game in the WS should be approached as an isolated incident, not like a mid season game where the vast majority of the analytical information is gathered.
  9. If you can Simmons on a two year deal that would fill the gap until SS gets figured out long term. What would it take to sign Simmons? 2/20?
  10. Simmons, Didi.. Maybe make a splash for Lindor? I'll take those options versus an unproven MLB player.
  11. You guys all are ready to accept that Kim's bat will carry over successfully against MLB pitching? LOL
  12. If Pearson can stay healthy, he's going to dominate.
  13. What are you laughing at? Jansen, Bo at SS,Biggio and Grichuk won't win you s*** defensively.
  14. Possibly, but I think Cavan can move around. He's not an every day third baseman.
  15. At least it's still early, we need to scratch a few runs together in the next few innings.
  16. Our defence in the middle of the diamond is weak af, we'll never win s*** unless that changes.
  17. I'm sorry but Bo is not a shortstop, and no I'm not basing this on today alone.
  18. It was a good season all in all I guess.
  19. Rays can hit softies, they sit back well.
  20. Grichuk was born to hit seventh.
