  1. Now I know that you guys are all tech savy and always know how to find a stream for things. Does anyone know where I can get a stream for ESPN 2 or ESPN 3. Thanks for any help, anyone can give me.
  2. I think you hit the nail on the head. AA already took the top layer off the farm, and I really doubt he wanted to do it again.
  3. You need to go and read Griffin's column this morning, about doing nothing!!
  4. All reporting on the Santana incident, admitted that the trade had been approved before the players offered to chip in. When AA was first hired, he said that he is going to keep things very secretive, and that way he wouldn't have to lie. I thought that was the best interview that I have ever heard from him. He sounded angry and fed up with the people spouting that the Jays had no money. He was asked difficult questions and had logical reasons for every decision that was made. One thing that seems to have been lost in the conversation about no moves at the deadline, is that he said all the clubs that he was talking with wanted major league players. They were not interested in prospects!!!!
  5. They just had the highest viewership for a single game. They have their pitching pretty well going along smoothly. They have their 4,5,6 starters coming back to the lineup. Why would they fall out of contention. If that happens, they must have had another catastrophic bunch of injuries to their starting staff. If that happened, those same fans that were watching on Tuesday, won't blame Rogers.
  6. IMO Lester has been treated shabbily by the Sox. I guess if there is a health concern, it will come out sooner or later. But the offer they made one of the best pitchers in the AL, was insulting. Why would he go back there?
  7. according to XM radio, John Henry invested heavily in a report about how much production the team gets from pitchers over 30 years of age. He will NOT give any pitcher a contract longer than four years if they are over 30. They report that the Sox never made another offer, after the original one. Lester is said to be very angry, although saying all the right things. Kennedy said that Lester will never go back to the sox.
  8. Red sox said they would trade to Jays or O's but not Yankees
  9. O's being reported as getting lester
  10. xm reporting that Lester will not make his start tomorrow against the Jays. Didn't know anymore than this board about where he was going, but that was latest.
  11. And some of us have seen the Jays win two world series, so what. You spent an entire off season on here crowing about how wonderful the Rays were. All of a sudden when they weren't so wonderful, you disappeared. Now when the Jays are struggling, you are back. Well get used to seeing your Rays down there, because they have started their decline.
  12. Should be the ear of the beholder. Either way, it is grating.
  13. All in the eye of the beholder, I cant stand his voice.
  14. Anyone think the jays have enough for Price and Zobrist? I see the Rays are now going to wait right up until the break before deciding whether to trade them. Do the jays take a chance they might get them, or try something else
  15. According to a tweet from Morosi, jays and padres are in discussions on headley. Rosenthal added that some in jays org. Feel that the jays need a bat, not pitcher.
  16. Well unfortunately that lets the Jays out. I think a lot of people forget how much more difficult it is for the Jays to get players to come here. I heard Buerhle being interviewed about him coming to T.O. And he says he gets asked a Lot by players what it is like playing in Canada. When he was asked himself, he was what I call lukewarm. And he is still talking about his pitbull. He said that a lot of players think it is too much hassle for their families. And this was just a couple of weeks ago.
  17. Does he have a no trade clause, because if he does, he wont be coming here
  18. Well who will buy reyes?
  19. And those same chips will be there to sell in the off season, if this season continues to go sideways
  20. They need a trade definitely, and if it doesn't come, then it is on AA's head and he will probably pay with his job.
  21. But then those Negative Nellies look at the worst case scenario in every single case. All winter, Jays are done, AA is an idiot. Beeston should be fired, and Gibbons is the worst manager that ever walked this earth. We have no pitching, our offense won't be able to overcome that terrible pitching, and we will be in dead last all year. And if AA doesn't blow this up and sell everyone, I am never watching a game again. Does that about cover it? Then the Jays are in first place, and this is the best game I have ever seen in my life. I am so excited. f***,f***,f***. What a team. So now there have been some really bad injuries, and those nellies are giving up , the ship is sinking. Even with half a team, and that terrible end of the line up, they are hanging in on most games. How about trying a little perspective.
  22. I have always thought the players should get a bigger vote.
  23. On xm, they talked about Hamels no trade and "supposedly" he has 21 teams on his no trade. But ferrin said that no trades are put there so they can negotiate a few extra bucks, if they decide they will go to that team. They also said that Jays were in on him heavy. Fwiw.
  24. Plus the sox lost. It was a good day
