    I think Joey votto will Become a Jays by end of 2022. It make Sense for them. Hometown guy. Let vladdy play Third base. Also sign j ramirez to play second! Jays will Win the World Series by 3 years guaranteed it!

    I agree, but still think we would want a 3B acquisition on top of Schwarbs. A Freeman contract probably looks great for the first half and could turn ugly in the last few years. Offense hasn’t really been a weak point for this club and I think the money is better spent elsewhere

    I guess it depends what you define as success. He’s been pretty damn successful aside from winning in the playoffs which can’t necessarily be controlled by him.

    I could see ownership on board with the whole marketing angle of signing Freeman. He’s part Canadian, family guy, would be perfect for commercials and stuff

    I was thinking maybe Urshela/Sanchez were not Vaxxed and they preferred to offload them while securing an everyday SS in the process. Donaldson also still has the potential for a 4-5 WAR season if he remains healthy
