    Schedule definitely got all f***ed up due to the pushed start date. Jays weren’t even supposed to begin the season at home IIRC. Also sucks we lost the Ny/Bos game that was supposed to be at 1pm. But still, BASEBALL IS BACK TOMORROW

    Honestly I agree. But I also agree with the idea that wasting resources/money on “good” relievers is also maybe a bad idea since relievers tend to be extremely volatile. Unfortunately we got f***ed on the luck front in 2021 with the bullpen. 2020 bullpen was pretty much the same except guys like Dolis and Borucki were actually good. 2021 the same group of guys all sucked outside of Romano and occasionally Mayza.

    Im pretty sure they get a replacement call up. I believe it will be treated like a temporary DL stint. We’ll find out soon enough whether the rule is even in place or if they’re granted an exception.

    Kinda sucks we gotta wait an extra day for the Jays (most teams start Thursday) but at least we get to begin the season at home for the first time since 2019! So pumped for this season. Fly Jays fly

    Injuries are a thing. Someone will get injured at some point and Katoh could get several starts.

    Its seeming like Kirk will be catching fairly often, he was catching Gausman today plus I believe he catches Manoah? Possibly Berrios too since they both speak Spanish. Seeming like Jansen and Kirk will be splitting catching duties roughly 50/50, hopefully with Kirk DHing when he isn’t behind the plate.
