    Yeah I must say, its been extremely easy to buy and exchange tickets this year. I bought one of those quarter season packs and switched half the games to weeknights i’ll be in Toronto for work and giveaway games. Everything was extremely easy. And it was only like 20$ per ticket in the 500s behind home plate. Its also extremely easy to list tickets you don’t want on stubhub. You can post directly to stubhub from your jays account. Just waiting on my free MLBtv subscription voucher. To anyone on the fence about buying a ticket pack, i’d say do it. The jays will be a hot commodity by June/July and prices will skyrocket if it’s anything like it was 2015. Plus its a lot easier to move/exchange tickets this year compared to previous seasons. Its worth buying a cheap package just to secure access to playoff tickets.

    I think maybe they just don’t care? They want the best hitters possible regardless of whether they hit left or right. And that’s not necessarily a bad plan of action, the 2010/2011 Rangers had like 1 lefty in the lineup (Hamilton) and were still a WS team. And that was back when you could bring in a lefty reliever to face 1 batter.

    Going to the Gausman game on Saturday and this looks like his final start before the regular season so I’m hoping he looks sharp

    What about the David Price trade? Gave up Boyd and Norris (who never became anything, but still) for 12 regular season starts + 3 mediocre postseason starts. Boyd has been a pretty solid mid-back end starter for several seasons Also the Brad Hand trade last year, simply for the fact it likely cost us a playoff spot

    Was it confirmed to be a virus?? I just saw non-covid related illness. Could mean anything. Regardless, I was more just complaining that Pearson’s health in general has been a major issue the last couple years.

    Why were you expecting a 6 man rotation? I wouldn’t want to take starts away from Berrios/Gausman/Ryu. Manoah might be on an innings limit but he was solid last year. They started 2021 with a 4 man rotation of scrubs + Ryu. No reason to push a 6 man rotation when the quality is much better than it was last year. Plus extra roster spots for relievers

    He’s signed for 3 years at a non-insignificant AAV, so he’s here to stay until at least 2024. They wouldn’t punt him in year 1 although there might be a chance he pitches out of the bullpen if he’s doing really poorly. I think he’s fine as a 5th starter though, his numbers with Seattle weren’t terrible

    Im guessing prices will go up beginning of summer when the team is doing well. Lots of casuals probably couldn’t name a single player on the team right now (maybe Bo/Vlad). I went to an engagement party for some relatives last week and when sports/baseball discussions came up they all just kept asking about Bautista. Don’t think they even knew about Vlad. But yeah I feel like going to the dome April/May kinda sucks. Once they open the roof ticket sales will pick up

    Right? He wasn’t a highly touted prospect and he has just over 200 MLB plate appearances

    I like this. Berrios and Gausman are our long term guys so they get 1-2, Ryu gets 3 which means he won’t face the Yankees and slot Manoah 4th to split up the lefties. Means we’ll have all except Ryu going against the Yankees in NY. Should be a fun series

    That’s fair, I agree he probably needs to move to RF sooner than later. Maybe we gotta trade one of Lourdes/Teo or let em walk. The team needs a plus defender in CF, something we’ve been lacking since Pillar left
