    Manfred can’t just decide to do it randomly, the players union has to agree to it. They denied it in the latest CBA agreement however, there is a clause that Manfred can implement new rules and roboumps next year.

    My bad, I shouldn’t have said anything. Just saw Tapia hitting 5th in the lineup today and then remembered how good Bird looked in spring and thought about how i’d much rather see his name in that spot.

    They’re planning on going to a 6 man rotation anyways, so if there’s a rainout that just means Stripling/6th guy won’t get a start.

    Its essentially 2 regulars with an offday since Springer is DH, and its already his 2nd time DHing this season.

    Technically Chapman AND Springer since he’s DH. Yeah this is mind boggling for game 7 of the season against THE division rival. Hoping Tapia hits 2 dingers tonight to prove us wrong.
