    Yeah it’s frustrating because you see the talent he has, and he DOES have success in small sample sizes, but he just completely inplodes for weeks on end it seems. I’d still give him a shot in the rotation next year but it might be time to stick him in the bullpen for 2022 and reserve him for mop-up duty until he shows he can throw strikes consistently

    Its gonna have to be something they work on over the offseason/ST because yeah can’t keep trotting him out there to give up 4-5 runs and pitch 2 innings each start.

    I’d still take Bregman over Dansby right now given the choice. Dansby is over performing by a wide margin

    Didn’t fangraphs adjust their defensive metrics last season which led to players having like +/- 3 WAR over a few years? Yeah they aren’t very accurate

    Can’t just move Bo to 2nd base mid-season and expect him to play any better. He’ll need practice there. It has to be an offseason decision. We saw what happens with guy playing out of position on short notice, Vlad with 1B and Biggio with 3B. Good chance Bo is a disaster at 2B if you just plop him there.

    Didn’t watch today, but looked like a good fight they put up. Kikuchi put them in a hole early and Bo did not help him at all. I see Thornton and Castillo both pitched well, good for them. Offense managed to score 4 runs against the best pitching the Brewers have, and some of the best arms in the league. Not bad. Sucks to lose by 1 yet again but I guess this is the scale balancing after all those wins early in the year.

    Its getting to the point where Kikuchi needs tko be relegated to mop-up/long man duties, at least for this season. Im confident he can pitch better than this but maybe not THIS year. Needs to do some work in the offseason

    Eh, I think he’s a bust for this year but probably a good chance they can work with him in the offseason/spring training and get him to be servicable

    His stuff is excellent, he just needs to figure out where the damn ball is going when it leaves his hand

    This yeah lol. Clown behavior. Remember Tapia leading off with Espinal hitting like 7th earlier in the year? And now Espinal is cold and Tap hot, and Espinal is leading off. Charlie is just clueless. Could argue Tapia would be a better leadoff bat right now.

    The bullpen is a major issue right now. Good thing the offense is firing like crazy because we need these big leads. Gotta make some trades real quick before we lose a handful of important games the bullpen coughs up
