  1. The only difference I see really is that Bo isn’t one of the guys constantly clowning around like Vlad/Gurriel/Springer/Teo/etc. Definitely takes things more seriously.
  2. You could say he has a pretty Pfaadt projection
  3. Aww don’t do that… dude is smart and a valuable poster to have here but damn he’s a whiny B
  4. Yes I know its all a joke. I am also joking
  5. Im just joking around lol. Still waiting to see which C gets traded…
  6. Lol yeah. We know there are s***** people in the world. There are some very racist *******s that mix up spanish/mexican/cuban and don’t see a difference. Dated mentality. What are you gonna do.
  7. There’s no proof the front office has ever asked him to move to second base. Yet. We’ll see what happens going forward I guess.
  8. He’s like the Patrick Bateman meme scene where he’s watching himself in the mirror while f***ing someone.
  9. And turn him into an OF/RP. Imagine
  10. Barger solidifying a spot in the infield would be a godsend. Or maybe Orelvis can have a better showing at AA/AAA this year.
  11. I suppose. They’d have to be careful for 2024 though and probably bust their ass getting back under the threshold. Vlad + Bo will be more expensive and we’ll have a 3B, LF and CF to replace.
  12. Is it really a giant IF though? He’s projected for like 160 wRC+. I suppose time will tell
  13. Its too bad Dave Stewart isn’t in charge anymore. He’d probably do Carroll for Jansen and Gurriel or something silly
  14. Im not sure why people keep saying this, you are taxed an extra % of all money over the threshold. So yes there is a difference in going 1 million over vs 20 million over. From MLB.com: The following thresholds were put in place per the 2022-26 collective bargaining agreement: 2022: $230 million 2023: $233 million 2024: $237 million 2025: $241 million 2026: $244 million
  15. 3B for sure is at least above average. DH counts because it will be a lot of Kirk there. LF probably slightly above average. You’re underselling dude. Just go check fangraphs wRC+ and compare to other teams. Jays are top 10 offense easily, likely top 5ish.
  16. With his health problems, it might be better if he only plays 80-90% of games anyways. Idk I think if the money is there, he’ll sign.
  17. Horwitz plays OF a bit right?? Another potential option. Maybe Barger too?
  18. Agreed. Promise Conforto the everday job in LF/RF and work out the other guys around him. Springer in CF some days with Conforto/Gurriel at the corners
  19. KK doesn’t care about the turf, he played in Tampa for his entire career. Plus he owns a house in Florida so wanted to stay in the east. Perfect scenario for us really
  20. Mike Trout style extension
  21. Merch sales are revenue shared between teams so that doesn’t count. TV deals yes but Idk I think we just haven’t seen enough of these long deals blow up yet that teams are shying away. Off the top of my head there’s Pujols/Miggy/Fielder… Arod was fine until the last couple years.
  22. That would be rough for the Giants
  23. Yeah that’s true, better than I remember. But still Bassitt has a much better track record than Happ did when he signed here
