    Its not even certain that Gausman will get a start in the WC series. As of now, he’s scheduled to pitch game 162 and if we need a win then he’s pitching. Wouldn’t be enough rest time for him to pitch in the WC series, but he’d be ready for ALDS game 1. Although I guess there’s a possibility we see him out of the pen or something if there’s an emergency.

    He was an absolute monster in April. Probably accumulated like more than half of that WAR by May.

    I see it as more of an indictment on the rest of the team that Chapman is the WAR leader with 3.2

    I said not much better than average, on D. Meaning slightly above average. He hasn’t really looked sharp on D this season. I see the defensive metrics, he seems to be top 5-10 for 3B depending on what you look at. Overall he’s a good player, I just don’t really see him as “elite” on D compared to someone like Arenado.

    Im definitely of the opinion he’s not much better than average at this point
