  1. I firmly believe he would’ve carried us through at least another couple rounds. When Teo goes on those heaters he’s one of the best power hitters in baseball. Can’t believe our pen was so dogshit they couldn’t hold a 7 run lead.
  2. At the very least, this was a very close and competitive game. Much more exciting to watch than the Castillo/Mariners game 1 last year.
  3. What a homer
  4. True. Wondering if the same thing happens with Tiedeman this offseason…. Gotta think Atkins is going all in. Lots of holes in the lineup to replace. The shine isn’t really there on Ricky T at the moment, but he’s the biggest trade chip we’ve got. Plus Orelvis maybe.
  5. That’s because it was 90% Dodgers fans
  6. They’ll have top 20 attendance for the first year and it will fall back to bottom 5 after that. Building a new stadium anywhere in Florida is a mistake.
  7. Trying to hit oppo more, losing power in the process and creating more flyball outs. Every hitter ever in history has more power to their pull side.
  8. Respectfully, you’re completely wrong. Homers win games
  9. xba is a flawed stat because it doesn’t take left/right direction into account. Jays have a major problem hitting everything to CF
  10. Yep. To be honest he was very lucky it was only 3 runs because he looked like dogshit today again the Twins hitters. Even though he wasn’t actually tossing terribly. Could have located the fastball better, but that’s hard to do when the other team is hammering it whenever you throw one in the zone. Gausman NEVER throws the splitter for strikes and always gets whiffs. The Twins didn’t start actually swinging at Splitters until he started throwing the higher for strikes. That is NOT normal for him.
  11. If if if, bad luck, yadayada. Been the same story all f***ing year. This team just crumbles under pressure time and time again.
  12. Casuals will still argue “we need to play better small ball” and “everyone is trying to hit a homerun”
  13. Im almost wondering if we ever win a playoff game with Bo/Vlad. Maybe they just don’t have it. Maybe they aren’t the cornerstone franchise type players we thought they would be.
  14. I expected nothing and I am still disappointed. This has been the most frustrating Blue Jays team I can ever remember
  15. After walking the bases loaded, yes
  16. Harder to string multiple hits together against good arms. Like we’re seeing today. Makes sense
  17. Probably gonna see Romano for 2 innings
  18. Great today when it doesn’t matter, tomorrow they’ll cough up a 3 run lead you watch.
  19. Duran gonna walk the bases loaded then strike out the side
  20. They’d have been better off with Vlad hitting a single
  21. Normally its a full count at least… f***ing terrible there.
  22. 2 god awful at bats there after the double. Typical
