  1. Chapman is still an above average bat for the year. Bellinger was terrible 2 years in a row. Not in the same realm. Chapman will at least get 4/80 offers from several teams
  2. We really should have added someone. Too late to think about it now though. Definitely have a lot of work to do regarding the lineup for 2024
  3. Right, if we lose 2 and Seattle wins 2
  4. He really pulled a reverse Bo 2022 this year. Vlad kinda went MIA after April too, but he seems like he might be back
  5. Crackheads?? Lol. Take the go train. At least we have options
  6. Securing the sweep would’ve been nice. f***ing Romano. Just need to go 2-2 to secure a spot now. Doable, but you never know with these guys.
  7. I agree, the oppo approach should be reserved for 2 strike counts. Doesn’t seem to be the case with this team though. Something is off. Getting shutout 2 nights in a row to a non-playoff team in the final week of the season is no bueno.
  8. Called it. Pretty much cemented his CY award tonight. You’re welcome. Manoah in shambles
  9. Its crazy how literally every hitter on the team seems to be trying to hit oppo more this year… hmmmm
  10. The playoffs will be (slightly less) easy to make
  11. Must be 3 years in a row now
  12. How many times we gonna lose a series at home to the Yankees in the last week of the season.
  13. Honestly so glad the wildcard series is on the road (if they manage to get there)
  14. Missed terribly a couple pitches earlier, but he hammered that. Good hitters adjust mid-at bat
  15. I took a look and Springer’s pull% is down a good 10% from his career norms. Easily explains the power sap we’ve witnessed. Something in the org is stinky, whether its a front office philosophy or just the coaches
  16. Cole wants to finish the game, I can see it
  17. Im thinking it’s either the batters eye, or the park playing different due to airflow. Unfortunately there’s more renos next year, so it will be almost impossible to know the if the park played different for 2023. If we see a new batters eye next season, I think we have our answer
  18. I don’t think Tampa would really give a s***. They’d be more likely to want revenge in the wildcard round, at the Trop.
  19. Yeah shits been happening all year. Chapman was an extreme pull-hitter with Oakland. Now he’s top 10 MLB for flyball outs to CF and trying to hit everything oppo
  20. I’d probably rather just have Varsho in there. Much more likely to pop a homer and he plays better D
  21. I think most will agree this is the worst “good” Jays team we’ve ever seen. Could just be a byproduct of us being used to offense-first teams, when this team is clearly a pitching-first team. Offensive teams are just more fun, plain and simple. See 2015 Jays, 2023 Rangers, etc.
