  1. I would probably pick hitter A because its more familiar to me?? Hitter B is interesting though, if you had an entire lineup of hitter B then you win every game right? Realistically hitter B is probably more valuable because he never makes an out, but how much would he actually score if the rest of the lineup stinks? So I guess if the lineup stinks you would want hitter A, but any solid offense would want hitter B. Maybe im over thinking this and B is the clear answer
  2. Really need to win this one so we can save bullets tomorrow. Step up and finish it boys
  3. Spotrac.com is your friend
  4. Honestly would love that
  5. Guess we’re not clinching tonight. Go out and win tomorrow, clinching in front of the fans would be great
  6. Holy s*** Crawford is so clutch
  7. I doubt he even makes a playoff roster. Maybe in the CS as a long man
  8. Varsho seems like a guy that could have instant success by just choking up on the bat with 2 strikes
  9. Fugly inning, better not let this one slip away. If we can’t hold the Rays to a 4 run lead with 3 innings left when they aren’t really trying, we are not going to get past them in the playoffs
  10. Loll totally forgot that was also an 8 run lead
  11. Wow. Pretty rare to see some bad D by the Rays. Keep rolling!
  12. They can still win 1 and clinch tonight if Seattle loses
  13. I don’t really think it’s totally fair to say we got “lucky” with the rotation without also acknowledging that the front office strongly considered health and innings with the guys we assembled. The front office has specifically targeted guys who have great bills of health for the rotation (after the Ryu deal of course) and it’s worked in their favor.
  14. Actually, that was probably fairly predictable. Kikuchi getting to 160+ after an abysmal season last year is probably the most surprising
  15. That would be ideal. Alternatively, win tomorrow and one of Houston/Seattle loses clinches for us I believe
  16. So the possible scenarios im seeing that could play out this weekend look like: Jays go 0-3 - need Houston to go 1-2 or worse - OR - need Seattle to go 1-2 or worse Jays go 1-2 - need Houston to go 2-1 or worse - OR - need Seattle to go 2-1 or worse Jays go 2-1 - Guaranteed spot So basically Jays gotta win 1 more and as long as Houston and Seattle don’t both sweep then we’re good.
  17. All that matters is the FUN differential baby
  18. They can beat the Rays. Os just took the division today so the Rays will be lining up their rotation for the playoffs. Might get a game or 2 with a s***** bullpen day or something
  19. Not everyone has a computer or hacked fire stick hooked up to a TV
  20. Definitely. Would be great if he gives up a walk-off homer in an elimination game like he did with NY
