  1. Fugly inning, better not let this one slip away. If we can’t hold the Rays to a 4 run lead with 3 innings left when they aren’t really trying, we are not going to get past them in the playoffs
  2. Loll totally forgot that was also an 8 run lead
  3. Wow. Pretty rare to see some bad D by the Rays. Keep rolling!
  4. They can still win 1 and clinch tonight if Seattle loses
  5. I don’t really think it’s totally fair to say we got “lucky” with the rotation without also acknowledging that the front office strongly considered health and innings with the guys we assembled. The front office has specifically targeted guys who have great bills of health for the rotation (after the Ryu deal of course) and it’s worked in their favor.
  6. Actually, that was probably fairly predictable. Kikuchi getting to 160+ after an abysmal season last year is probably the most surprising
  7. That would be ideal. Alternatively, win tomorrow and one of Houston/Seattle loses clinches for us I believe
  8. So the possible scenarios im seeing that could play out this weekend look like: Jays go 0-3 - need Houston to go 1-2 or worse - OR - need Seattle to go 1-2 or worse Jays go 1-2 - need Houston to go 2-1 or worse - OR - need Seattle to go 2-1 or worse Jays go 2-1 - Guaranteed spot So basically Jays gotta win 1 more and as long as Houston and Seattle don’t both sweep then we’re good.
  9. All that matters is the FUN differential baby
  10. They can beat the Rays. Os just took the division today so the Rays will be lining up their rotation for the playoffs. Might get a game or 2 with a s***** bullpen day or something
  11. Not everyone has a computer or hacked fire stick hooked up to a TV
  12. Definitely. Would be great if he gives up a walk-off homer in an elimination game like he did with NY
  13. Yeah brutal move. Thankfully my parents have Bell Fibe so I can use that for the Jays. Still annoying having to flip between MLBtv and Bell Fibe though to watch different games
  14. Chapman is the biggest choke artist ever. Would be hilarious if Texas somehow misses the postseason after this game
  15. Holy f*** Mariners almost choked that. JP Crawford super clutch this year
  16. Lol that’s fine im just joking. Clearly you’re a general baseball fan. Do you live close enough to actually go to the dome regularly?
  17. Aroldis Chapman f***ing suuuuucks
  18. Remember all the “Chapman is getting PAID” comments a few months ago?? Hahaha crazy how things turned. Still getting paid just not nearly as much
  19. Lol are you completely forgetting the series we just had in the Trop?? IF the jays play lile that, they advance. Minnesota is a wildcard, they could smash us honestly. But yeah playing TB for a 3rd series in 2 weeks, at the trop, does not make me feel comfortable. Neither does Minnesota. Its all a wash IMO. As long as we don’t have play the Os.
  20. Thanks for the input
  21. And a handful of other scouts will say he’s an adjustment away from returning to the 120wRC+ 30hr bat he used to be. And that could very well be true.
