    You’re acting like the people on this forum were the only ones predicting the Jays to win the division, as if we’re all living in some dreamland. That’s not the case though, pretty much every big publication and projections all had the Jays as the top team in the division. Yes they underperformed but we weren’t stupid to think they had a chance to win the division or go to the WS. Get off your high horse, you’re not nearly as smart as you think you are.

    Was already talked about a few pages back. But yeah crazy, you think he would’ve accepted a 100+ million extension but I guess he probably thought he’d have a better season and easily find a 150 contract. He still might. An injury could’ve totally f***ed his walk year though. Tough to gamble on that

    I don’t think I saw this anywhere here so i’ll post it Jon Heyman had some comments about the Jays/Chapman: Matt Chapman met with the incumbent Jays at the meetings. The surprise Diamondbacks and Giants are among other teams eyeing third base. The Jays offered well over $100M in the spring but the sides weren’t close. Chapman is probably shooting for $150M plus.

    Lol nice. I feel like he’s mostly right other than he glosses over the fact that Donaldson is s*** and Peraza should have been playing over him. That entire trade was a disaster. Donaldson and IKF both stank and Cashman refused to let go of either. Playing IKF in CF loll

    I went to Paris this summer and yeah French people suck. Quebec isn’t much better.

    He’s not gonna get 4th OF money though… Lukes and Springer could probably fill in at CF here and there if needed

    Kinda odd... maybe they see a Varsho/Taylor platoon in CF? Would be disappointing though if the front office has already soured on Varsho after 1 year considering what we gave up.

    Seems the cost of QO is getting high enough that teams are feeling it isn’t worth it except for the elite FAs that will certainly decline.

    More differences on the infield than between LF/CF. Dubon winning makes sense. Mookie probably should have won in the NL though. Maybe his stats don’t look good on the infield
