  1. I like him as a 4th OF but I don’t see him putting up the same numbers as 2023. If Varsho isn’t primarily a CF this year, he should be traded or made backup C
  2. Damn, term was right. Gotta say I don’t really like this move. Don’t like having both KK and Varsho in the OF at the same time. I also don’t think KK will repeat his success from 2023. As a 4th OF, Keirmaier is perfect but 10 million is alot for a 4th OF. Only other ways this makes sense is if they trade Varsho or have him make more starts at Catcher
  3. I’ve been doing that my entire life. Who cares if I have massive credit card debt, I have a PS5, a Snowmobile, 4x4 ATV, etc.
  4. On a 2 million dollar per year salary??? I think not
  5. Pretty surprised they aren’t just throwing him piles of cash after missing out on Ohtani. Its obviously the more sensible decision to bow out but I thought Atkins would be adamant on making a big splash. Maybe Yelich and Adames could be a big trade to get the casuals hyped up
  6. I feel like Teo playing RF in fenway would be a disaster. IMO they’d play him in LF
  7. Yelich would probably be a good fit for the Yankees
  8. https://theathletic.com/5158078/2023/12/22/yoshinobu-yamamoto-yankees-offer/ The Yankees offered Yamamoto a higher average annual value than the Dodgers, an earlier opt-out and more money in the first five years, according to sources briefed on the respective proposals. The Yankees couldn’t even sway his decision with more money. Absolutely 0 chance he was ever even considering Toronto. Ohtani probably wasn’t either.
  9. Yes, other Pedos
  10. Baltimore would be a good fit for him honestly
  11. He’d be a great target for LF as a platoon option. Cover CF too
  12. Exactly this
  13. And what does Vlad project for?? Now, can you tell me with a straight face that you think Vlad will out-WAR Bellinger next year?
  14. Former MVP winner. Also plays much better D. Younger. But yeah everyone here pretty much agrees he's not worth more than 150 million.
  15. Would you have signed Bellinger for 8/200 last year?? That’s the difference here. He’s extremely risky and we don’t really know what he is going forward. Soto is the closest thing to a sure bet as a free agent could be.
  16. I don’t think anyone will argue that signing Bellinger is good long-term. But, of the available free agents, Bellinger is likely the best bat we can add to the lineup next year. Best fit too. Lefty OF with pop, can cover CF and 1B. Also important here is the fact that Atkins is in the hot seat. If the team fails again next year, he could be gone. Signing Bellinger may be a necessary evil.
  17. I wanna go back to the old posting system
  18. Gonna be pretty disgusting if the Dodgers skirt the luxury tax on this deal too
  19. Jays should try and sign Donaldson for 3B. Probably still has some left in the tank! 1yr for 10 mil probably gets it done
  20. I think dogg has successfully infiltrated the board once again
  21. Shades of Jesus Montero
  22. On a 1yr deal does it matter? Worth a gamble like Belt was
  23. Barger has been getting lots of OF reps hasn’t he?
